Cancel my subscription
To cancel your subscription, click on your Profile Page link in the main menu (this will just be a head and shoulders image if you’ve not uploaded a Profile Picture) and click on the ‘ Account Settings’ link from the drop-down menu that appears:
Then you'll see a menu. Select ' Subscriptions'.
You'll see the details of your subscription. Next to "Actions" - you'll see a " Cancel" button. If you click this, you will be taken to a screen confirming that you wish to end your membership.
A note on losing discounts:
Any discounts you may have on your subscription apply only if your current subscription is kept active. It's not possible to transfer discounts onto future subscriptions should you take a break from Nature Studio membership and re-join later.
What happens when you cancel?
If you cancel your membership before the 'Next payment date', your subscription status will change to 'Pending Cancellation'. You'll still have access to Nature Studio for the rest of the time you've paid for, but you won't be re-billed at the end of that period.
We advise that you cancel at least 24 hours before the next payment date (ideally 48 hours) to ensure the automated system does not run the renewal. If you cancel within 24 hours of the renewal date, it's possible you may miss the cut off. Please keep an eye and if you notice the renewal has gone through, just email us at info@naturestudio.com and we'll reverse the charges for you.
What if you cancel and then change your mind before the end date?
When your subscription status is 'Pending Cancellation', you'll see an option to ' reactivate' your subscription. Just hit this button to continue on your current subscription plan, which will also allow you to keep any discounts you may have.
What if you cancel just after a renewal has gone through?
If your subscription has just renewed and you weren't expecting it to, you'll need to contact us. we do send reminder emails a few days beforehand, so they may have gone into your junk folder. Don't worry if this has happened - just send us an email to info@naturestudio.com to let us know ASAP, and we'll sort it out for you. 💖
Cancelling your subscription via the website after the renewal has gone through isn't guaranteed to flag to us that this is an unwanted renewal - this is because some members choose to set their subscription not to renew by cancelling it, but still want to keep the membership they've paid for. We do read the comments on cancellation forms, but sending an email is the quickest way to notify us.
If you're a new member and have chosen to cancel your membership and would like a refund under our 14-day refund promise:
you will also need to email us at info@naturestudio.com to request your refund. This is because some members cancel because they don't want their membership to renew, but they do still want to keep the time they've paid for. Therefore, refunds don't happen automatically.
What if you want to re-join in the future?
If after allowing your subscription to end you choose to re-join the Nature Studio in the future, you can use the same email address when re-registering, and you'll find your existing profile exactly as you left it. It'll feel like you've never been away.
