1. Check you're using the right browser, and keep it up-to-date
We recommend Google Chrome for the best experience with the Nature Studio website. This is a quick and free download here for PC and is also in the Apple App store for free and also make sure that you're running the latest version. This will often mean also ensuring that you're running the latest version of your device's operating system too. Our website is feature-rich and we update it regularly so it's important that you also keep your own tech set-up current to make sure it's always compatible.
2. Clear your browser's cache (recent browsing history/data)
This is an easy step that will usually fix any minor problems you experience. Sometimes our browsers can get “clogged” with all of the images and information they store from webpages we visit every day which can especially be an issue if the website itself has been updated since your browser last stored images etc. Clearing your browser’s cache will refresh things. For more info on what your browser's cache is and why you need to clear it regularly check out this article.
How to clear your browser's Cache
Here are some tips for the most common browsers. If they don't work for you, it's best to Google for 'How to clear my browser's Cache' and include the name and version number of your browser. On a PC in Chrome or Safari you can find out what version you're using by clicking on 'About' via the menu at the top of the screen.
Chrome on a Desktop computer
Depending on your operating system all you need to do is the following key combination: Windows: Ctrl + Shift + Del Mac/Apple: Command +Shift + Del which will bring up the 'Clearing Browser Data' options. Also use the Advanced tab to select the from "All time" time-range rather than just the last 24 hours.
Chrome on iPad/iPhone
Within Chrome, go to the menu accessed in the bottom right of screen then Settings > Privacy > Clear Browser Data. You want to clear Cookies, Site Data and Cached Images and Files.
Safari on an iPad or iPhone
Go to Settings > Safari > “Clear History and Website Data”.
If the glitch you're experiencing is only on one webpage, and you're on a Desktop computer then you can try forcing your Browser to load a fresh, un-cached version of that particular page by forcing a 'Hard Reload'. Depending on your operating system all you need to do is the following key combination: Windows: Ctrl + F5 Mac/Apple: Apple + R or Command + R
3. Check your internet connection
Sometimes there can be an issue with your wi-fi if you are not close enough to the router, or if a neighbour has started going online and their wi-fi uses the same frequency (thus reducing the bandwidth available). Wait a few hours and trying again. If you still have problems try contacting your internet provider.
