Interested in becoming a member of Team Anna?
Our small team helps to make sure our community is supported in their Nature Studio experience.
There are currently no vacancies in Team Anna, but as our community continues to grow, we anticipate that we will have capacity for more members on our commenting team in the future.
If you'd like to become part of our commenting team, here's some information about what we look for in our team members and how to register your interest:
What we look for in a commenting team member:
- You love supporting other members of the Nature Studio
- You regularly post supportive comments on other members' paintings
- You regularly offer appraise on other members' paintings including constructive pointers
- You write your comments with a warm, friendly and conversational tone
- You've completed several tutorials, including Advanced tutorials, and have uploaded them to your profile.
- You demonstrate a solid understanding of Anna's watercolour technique and of achieving realism
- You're prepared to commit to a regular amount of time each week (e.g. 1 hour a week) on a regular day of the week
How to register your interest:
If you think you'd be a good fit for our team, please send us an email to info@naturestudio.com with the subject line: "Team Anna recruitment" and include the following information:
- Your reasons for wanting to join the team.
- Which day(s) of the week you could theoretically commit to on a regular basis
- If you have any other skills or experience which you feel would be relevant to the role
- Anything else you feel is important for us to know
We will then keep a record of your interest and contact you if a vacancy opens up which we feel would be suitable for you.
What happens when there's a vacancy:
When a vacancy opens in our team, we'll start our search by looking at our list of people who've already expressed an interest in working with us.
If you're on the list, we'll look to see if you're still an active member of the Nature Studio. This would include uploading photos of your work (finished or in progress) and commenting on / appraising paintings by other members.
If we think you'd be suited to the role, and you're still an active community member, we'll reach out to you to see if you're still interested, and ask you to complete our Team Anna quiz.
In this quiz, we'll ask you to troubleshoot some paintings and give your feedback on them. We ask all new team members to take this quiz to make sure they're ready to join us, as it's really important that we offer consistent feedback to our community.
Once you've completed the quiz, and if you did well in it, we'll talk you through the next steps and take things forward from there.
