How should I use the Self-Directed Sketchbook Exercises?

As part of your regular scheduled art-making sessions, you’ll want to make time for some  Self-Directed Sketchbook Exercises (found under Learn in the main menu) – especially in relation to getting to know your paints. This is especially important if you use different paints to the ones Anna recommends, as you’ll need to know how they behave if you intend to substitute them.
