How do I get chosen for Artwork of the Month?
Every month Anna chooses one artwork uploaded to the website to be featured on the homepage and to receive a free set of brushes.
It’s not necessarily the most accomplished paintings or drawings that are chosen.
Anna’s looking for the inspirational experiences of producing the artwork that accompany the picture.
So to be in with a chance, make sure you post a comment on your picture, sharing your experience of creating it!
To give you a few ideas, some things you could include in your comment might be:
- What inspired you to choose the subject
- How you felt before starting
- Did you do anything particular to prepare? e.g. Did you refer to any tutorials?
- Any challenges you faced
- How long you worked on it for, and how you made time for it
- Anything that surprised you about the experience
- What lessons you learned from the process
- How you felt after completing the piece
