On 2nd September 2026, our guest artist Shelly Perkins held a live session for members where she gave us a behind-the scenes tour of her visit to Zimbabwe where she made a series of classes exclusively for Nature Studio members.

Here's where you can find Shelly's Zimbabwe course:

On the course 'Wild Zimbabwe: An Arty Adventure', you'll:

• Explore the wilderness by overlanding in a 4x4, documenting the scenery through painting a series of mini landscapes. 
• Go on an elephant safari, sketching the giant mammals you'll get up very close to. 
• Paint a 'nature table' of 'souvenirs' from nature collected from the ground and studied through your paintbrush
• Capture the golden setting sun in a line and wash landscape.
