What's the Monthly Member Challenge?

In Anna's weekly member emails, you'll often notice she mentions the Monthly Member Challenge. But what is it?

Well, it's essentially a 'paint and share' forum discussion that centres around a new set of prompts each month.

The Monthly Member Challenge was created by members many years ago, and it's still entirely organised by members to this day.  Anna helps other members to find the challenges through her emails, but this belongs to Nature Studio members. 

Each month, a different member sets a selection of "challenge" prompts and starts a new discussion in the # Monthly Member Challenges area of the Community Hub. And each year, one member takes charge of organising who will set each month's challenge for the year ahead.

In their opening message for that month, thy will explain the theme or themes they're inviting you to share your artwork around that month. Usually the challenges include a plant and an animal, to keep to the overall nature theme of Nature Studio.

These challenges are open to all members, and are not competitive in any way. They exist as a way for members to inspire you and others to create something you might not have thought of, share work you've created before, see how others meet the challenges and earn about the interesting and diverse nature around the world.

If you feel inspired to participate, all you need to do is reply in the current month's forum discussion. You can share your artwork, comment on art shared by others, or both!

So consider the Monthly Member Challenge as a shared, member-owned and member-led, creative experience with a goal of inspiring and connecting with each other.
