How to find an art buddy
When you’re only answerable to yourself to meet your goals, you tend to make more allowances for not keeping your promises.
But when you’re trying to keep a promise to somebody else (ie. your accountability or art buddy), you feel much more compelled to stay true to your word.
And the best buddies are peeps who are also trying to keep similar promises to themselves and know just how important it is.
That’s why I want to encourage you to buddy up with one or more members of the Nature Studio.
You belong to a vibrant community of artists just like you, who are ready to encourage you on your creative journey, and also need your support.
How to find an art buddy within the Nature Studio:
Visit the Find an art buddy Room in the Community Hub, giving a bit of info about yourself and where you’re at in your artistic journey. Be sure to check the existing posts in this Room first in case there's already a buddy waiting for you.
NB: If you want to take it a step further, you can try to find another member you can meet up with IRL (in real life) for accountability chats or even to paint together. To do this, look in the lower section of the left-hand sidebar menu to find the
member directory and
member map. You can see if any members are close-by and send them a message to see if they’d be interested (full instructions on that are
here). Even if you live somewhere remote you never know, there might be someone a lot closer than you think!
