Which pencil to use for tracing/drawing?

For tracing / creating your outline drawing, an HB pencil is ideal and a mechanical pencil will make it easy to keep a sharp point. 

When drawing, try not to press down too hard otherwise your pencil lines will become too dark and prominent. 

If you find your pencil markings are a little too dark, you can try to gently remove some of the pencil with your eraser or roll a piece of Blu -Tack over some areas, to make the lines a little lighter.
